Active clients

Hello,

Sorry to bother you, but still I'm a bit unsure about the Active clients and thus the limitations for each license tier.

In this Article: https://www.whmcs.com/members/index.php/knowledgebase/277/Client-Limit-Approaching-for-Resold-Licenses.html I read "An active client is defined as a client with at least one active product, service, add-on or domain"

So, I gave a try by registering a Member. Just registration, no any order. Then I did this test:
............
"To see how many active clients are in your installation, navigate to Clients > View/Search Clients, select the Search/Filter tab and in the Status dropdown select Active. Then click Search.
The resulting client list and record count will include just the clients considered active."
...........
and I seen that the Member whom I registered before, it appears as Active.

So what is finally an Active Client?

1.- Someone who has register in my site without to buy anything (or even to let an order unpaid) ...or......
2.- Someone with at least one active product, service, add-on or domain

Thank you
Chris

As for your new client? Perhaps this is something determined by cron, as in, if the client hasn't ordered something in X days, they are considered inactive.

Yes, this is. Don't know how long the system keep him active, but I'll try to give a look in the settings to see if it's a configurable option.
