Renew Domain without money

Hi all

Today found that I make gift for two customers. Coz autorenew domains and  they don't have any money on account. So its use my money on reseller service.

How I can prevent to do it again if no money on  user account.

how did they autorenew ? did you mark the invoices as paid or where the domains priced at 0 ?

Customer set autorenew I think.

But on their balance ZERO.

Any idea how billing send command to renew if customer account without money.

Zero balance.

a customer setting a domain to auto-renew is telling WHMCS to invoice for the renewal - it won't be telling the registrar to renew it (unless there is a third-party addon active that is bypassing how WHMCS handles domain renewals by default).

did WHMCS generate an invoice for the domain renewal ? if so, was it priced at 0.00 ?? because if it was, the domain would have renewed automatically (assuming Auto Renew on Payment is enabled).... is it a free domain linked to a hosting product with a different renewal date ?

in WHMCS, a domain wouldn't auto-renew with the registrar unless a) the invoice was paid (or marked as) or b) priced at 0.00 - so the important thing to determine is whether the renewal was invoiced for, and if that invoice was paid.
