WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted April 8, 2020 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted April 8, 2020 Hi @Atif Parvaiz, I'm sorry to hear you've experienced a problem applying the update via the auto-updater. This particular catch-all message might be caused by a number of different problems: 1. The environment configuration. Your Multi-PHP configuration looks to be in order based on the screenshot. Please ensure this configuration is being applied to the WHMCS installation by reviewing the values on Utilities > System > PHP Info. 2. Could you please share the last few entries from the tblupdatelog table within your WHMCS MySQL database: SELECT id,message,extra,created_at,updated_at FROM tblupdatelog ORDER BY id DESC LIMIT 5 3. Please navigate to Setup > General Settings > Other tab Enable the Display Errors option and click Save Changes. Return to the Utilities > Update WHMCS page: Open your browser's network analyser tool: Firefox Chrome Safari Start the update process again Click on the POST to the update.php file If the update process fails again, please share the contents of the "Response" sub-tab. Note: When sharing data here in public, please take care to remove any confidential information first.

web2008
I had the same error message in the previous version and the solution was to update manually. Next time, the automatic upgrade worked again!
