Finding original order for a service on an invoice

Is there a way that I'm just not seeing to navigate from viewing an invoice to the original order it was on?

Database-wise, there's an association from the invoice item, to the service it represents, to the original order. I'm hoping to therefore save information relevant to the order (Purchase order number etc.) in the notes field for the order and display these on the invoices where relevant. This works okay, but in the case that this data needs to be changed (for example, a client needs the PO number updated) there doesn't seem to be a way within WHMCS to get back to the appropriate order to update the notes. Looking at the invoice in the Admin area, there's no way to access the service and thus the order.

Is there any way for me to add these links in the Admin area myself? I have a bad feeling the answer is no?  It'd also be ideal if the client could do this in their area as well...

Kian has previously posted a hook that adds service links to the items on the invoice page in the admin area...

Thanks @brian! I'll give that hook a try.

Being able to alter the purchase order field / order notes, however I end up implementing it. If I get to a point where I even have specific ideas for that I'll ask again.

(thank you so much for all the help you give everyone here! you're amazing!)
