WHMCS issue after upgrading

Recommended Posts

After upgrading WHMCS from version 7.9.1 to 7.9.2, we have started facing problems. We are unable to use the intelligent search as it throws 500 internal server errors with scripts.min.js of the V4 template. Also, when we try to download an invoice from the admin area, it leads to an error stating ERR_INVALID_RESPONSE. We created a support request with WHMCS, but they say there is some problem with the server configuration. We have not changed any server configuration and everything was working fine. The errors started occurring after we upgraded WHMCS. And surprisingly, there is no error shown in the error_log. We are clueless. Please help us to identify the cause of the issue and the resolution.

how did you upgrade - automatic updater or manually??

if via the updater, is it an option for you to get the incremental patch and upload via FTP ?? i'm wondering if this is a corrupted upgrade.

did they say exactly what ??

No, we uploaded all the files.

hmm, if it were a corrupt file issue, that should have resolved it... and if there was a general issue with v7.9.2, there would have been more posts like this... have you tried using Blend to see whether it's just an issue with v4? have you cleared browser cache to ensure it isn't that ??

The issue resolved finally. However, the solution is a little weird. We enabled Display errors and Log errors in WHMCS General Settings and saved it. Later we disabled them and saved again. This time it resolved the issue.
