Greetings and peace WHMCS family. I am a new user of WHMCS, figured ill give it a go and see if its a better solution than what I am currently using.

So far everything is pretty much straight forward. I have only one issue, which is

1. I installed whmcs on my local machine to run some testing before I go live, no issues there however

2. I am unable to login into the backend to make edits etc

3. I received the download from my server company RC, they said I have to contact whmcs for the rest.

if anyone can help me out, that would be wonderful.

other than that, I'm a web / graphic designer. you can find me on most platforms by searching for Sun dey or Sundezine. Cheers.

WHMCS takes the initial installation location as the licensed one. In your case, the local server.
You will need to reset the license so it sees the public facing one, which will disable the local one it knows about now.

For testing, WHMCS generally allows a dev license, which is restricted to being non publicly accessible.
Not sure how they handle licenses from a server company, though. They might actually be a little upset you installed on something other than the hardware you got it with, even if it was apparently a harmless thing you'd done.
