Chad
Enabled this add-on in setup and also enabled widget view in staff management area. Where do I get the API "signature" in my PayPal account? Do I use my PayPal username (email) and password to or something else? I went here too: https://www.paypal.com/businessmanage/credentials/apiAccess I don't know which option to use. If I click on Grant API Permission link, I see attached and have no idea what to put there. I'm confused.
steven99
I believe WHMCS uses the Paypal "NVP/SOAP API integration (Classic)" . So on that page, find that and then hit manage api access . Then it should either show the information or give you an option to request it. It should show the signature, username, and password. The username will be different from your paypal user. Then just provide that information to the paypal gateway in WHMCS.
Chad
That was it, thanks for your help. It would be nice if their addon section actually mentioned that.
steven99
They have docs on it, but are out of date as paypal has been changing their API stuff for year or so.
