mrmoahi
Hello Is it possible to set max domain renewal period so that the renewal does not extend beyond X years from today? This is to day that if max renewal period is 2 yrs then whmcs should not allow domain renewal exceeding 2 years from today.
WHMCS ChrisD
@mrmoahi out of the box, I can't think of a way to do this, I'll move this to the developer boards where someone may be able to assist you, something such as a Action Hook might help in this case

Quote When enabled clients will see domain renewal options in the client area and a renewal category in the shopping cart allowing for them to renew domains at any time. When unticked clients will only be able to renew domains when the renewal invoice is automatically generated. with that feature disabled, clients can no longer renew their domains whenever they want to - only when the invoice is generated and they won't be able to change the renewal length... which effectively puts you in control of when, and how long for, they can renew.
mrmoahi
Hi brian Thanks for the reply. Any idea how I can archieve it with hooks instead and have the client still renew whenever they want to? I am not that good with WHMCS😏 but I do try my best!
