How can I set Max Domain Renewal Period

Hello

Is it possible to set max domain renewal period so that the renewal does not extend beyond X years from today?
This is to day that if max renewal period is 2 yrs then whmcs should not allow domain renewal exceeding 2 years from today.

@mrmoahi out of the box, I can't think of a way to do this, I'll move this to the developer boards where someone may be able to assist you, something such as a Action Hook might help in this case

the only way that springs to mind, without resorting to hooks, would be to disable the "Domain Renewal Orders" option...

with that feature disabled, clients can no longer renew their domains whenever they want to - only when the invoice is generated and they won't be able to change the renewal length... which effectively puts you in control of when, and how long for, they can renew.

Thanks for the reply. Any idea how I can archieve it with hooks instead and have the client still renew whenever they want to?

I am not that good with WHMCS😏 but I do try my best!
