I don't understand that weird kind of code but that's what I am looking for, could you make it even more simple

Well, maybe you should try to understand it. If you want to offer only subdomain hosting, you'll need to work it out. Or pay somebody else to. 

If you want to allow people to register their usual domains alongside your subdomains, @brian!'s quote above, referencing the WHMCS documentation will help you do just that. That's the "simple" way.

you know I should have done that code as a hook in that thread - i'm sure I did in another thread somewhere... :idea:
