Question

Hey

I have some questions in regard of using WHMCS,

We are looking for a cloud deploy software that can deploy VMs for specific software dev enviroments.

Is SSH Keys possible? Can the SSH be accessed through the browser?

Can features be disabled entirely? eg. Domain

Basically we will be using either Proxmox or Openstack, Leaning towards Proxmox though. There will be 6-8 VMs and the end user will choose a config predefined and then proceed to pick there OS template to install on top, Hoping WHMCS can send SSHs connection through browser

Can we use WHMCS for storage configuration ?

Thanks in advanced.

Phillip

Hi @ideabox,

WHMCS is a modular system, so can communicate with most systems to perform provisioning actions. This is usually done by way of connecting to an API on the system which is doing the provisioning.  Whilst I haven't personally seen a custom module which uses SSH keys via a browser to connect to an endpoint to initiate provisioning and management, WHMCS can execute pretty much any code you can write in PHP when needed: https://developers.whmcs.com/provisioning-modules/

Third parties have already developed provisioning modules for Proxmox and Openstack, so these may be of interest to you:

Please note we are unable to provide advice or support for custom or after-market modules such as the above.
