Mohsin Sumar
Hi, I am running WHMCS 7.3.0, configured on standard whois. The settings worked fine for several years, up until recently when spotlight search seems to keep spinning. Has anyone else experienced their spotlight search to stop working after the most recent upgrade? Note - the whois work fine, and responses show up for all the TLDs below the spotlight. It is just the spotlight / featured domains that show up as spinning.
WHMCS ChrisD
Hey @Mohsin Sumar, Thanks for your post, there shouldn't be anything impacting this, however, are you seeing any errors in your browsers console log? Are you using the default six template?

I can recall a thread where .nl feature/spotlight was doing something similar for another user... i'd be tempted to remove all the spotlight/featured tlds, and add them back one by one and test after you enable each one to see if you can identify if it's one particular TLD causing the problem. Mohsin Sumar
Hi Brian You're right, one of the TLDs whois server was taking too long to respond. Removing it resolved the problem. The best way to test it is to remove all, and feature them one at a time. Another important note would be to make sure to test with the default six theme in case of any customizations causing the problem.
