Remitur
I have WHMCS which manages some cPanel web servers, everything is working fine but a detail: - I have a "pro" hosting package which assign to the site a dedicated IP - IP are pre-assigned to cPanel server, so when cPanel need to create a new service with this package, he can choose the IP to assign to the domain It works fine but... how can WHMCS discover the IP assignet to that domain? Just now, I'm doing this manually (after the setup, I go in WHM, look for the domain, take note of the assigned IP, insert it in the field in WHMCS, write to the customer "dear customer, your IP is xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx ...) But, I guess, there should be a better way to do it!!!!!
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted October 9, 2017 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted October 9, 2017 Hi, Provided the IP address is automatically assigned by cPanel from the available IPs pool when the account is created. This happens when the "Dedicated IP" option is ticked in the package configuration in WHM. You can use the following merge field in the email template to give this to a customer (for example in the product welcome email) {$service_dedicated_ip}
