brian! Posted October 7, 2017 Share Posted October 7, 2017 depends on what you are updating from and to... but basically there are three options... Automatic Update - that would update from v7 or later. Manual Full Upgrade - e.g if you were upgrading from v6 to the latest version, you'd need the full latest download. Incremental Update - if upgrading to a minor update, e.g v7.2.2 to v7.2.3m you could download the incremental patch which will contain only the updated files. which is easiest will depend on your WHMCS experience... if it's limited, use the auto updater and hope it works... personally, i'm happy to use the updater on a development site (as it doesn't matter if it doesn't work), but i'd do it manually on a live site - though i've been doing that for years, so i'm familiar with the procedure. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
