multiple businesses

Hi,

What is the best way to use WHMCS for multiple businesses which all need individual invoices?

How can you make KBs private by customer/product group?

Is there a special way to set it up or are there addons that can do the above?

Thanks!

depends on the diversity of the businesses... there's the Billing Extension addon available from Marketplace where you can assign 'clients' to brands (each using a different invoice design) - though I don't know if a client can be assigned to multiple brands (e.g if there is any cross-ordering by clients between the different businesses).... alternatively, you could get a developer in to tweak the invoice design to cover all businesses... though that might not be as simple as it sounds.

you can make kb articles private so that the client needs to be logged in to read them... off the top of my head, can't think of an addon that hide articles based on conditions... could almost certainly be done by editing the template or using an action hook though.

Thanks for the tip, will check it out as well!

Glad that there are options for this. WHMCS can be used for so many purposes.

Would be definitely interested in a solution that would need clients to login, and then find only what has been designated for them, so that one can keep things neatly organised and avoid 'customer confusion' as sometimes certain offering combinations do not makes sense on first or further sight ;)

How could this be done with templates or action hooks? Have not looked into the rich API/hook repository yet.

Many thanks for the hints!
