Domain WHOIS Bug

Hello,

I have a problem with domain whois. When a domain name form is written by a domain name without a .com so I write that it is not available even though it is available, photo: http://i.imgur.com/NRyfEWI.png

When I click again to find so suddenly she writes that the domain is available (that's right), photo: http://i.imgur.com/fZXV0z6.png

When I click on the button for the third time, the upper text says that it is available but the window shows that it is inaccessible, photo: http://i.imgur.com/N3d1f2S.png

Do you have any idea what it is? I've already tried everything uplifting modules, changing templates etc .. But it still does this :(.

Thank you for your advice.

i've seen similar things occur over many versions of WHMCS... only when testing I believe and it's cacheing the result...

what I would suggest is that you test it with multiple TLDs - if only to rule out an issue with the .cz whois server.

first thing to check would be whether the whois server entry is correct for .cz -> don't worry, it is correct.

however, if your error is only affecting .cz and sometimes it works correctly, sometimes it doesn't, then whois lookup limits would be my next suggestion - these are limits as to how many whois searches you can perform on a specific whois server for a given length of time... so perhaps the first search occurs when you're being blocked by the .cz whois server and WHMCS interprets the reply as the domain being unavailable; then when you check again, the lookup limit counter has been reset and you get an accurate response. :?:

the lookup limit values are set by the Registry and has nothing to do with WHMCS.

i've previously read that for .cz, it is 3 whois lookups per minute, but you might want to contact nic.cz and ask them to confirm what the lookup limit really is.... and perhaps get your server IP whitelisted by them to prevent this occurring in the future.
