Confirm password to continue takes me to a 404 Error

Recommended Posts

it's strange that it just occurs all of a sudden - have you made any recent changes?

one thing to try, though it may not necessarily help if you're being redirected to a 404 page, would be the hook posted below by jclarke - it removes the need to enter the password when you get this Confirm Password nonsense.

Thank you Brian, I added the hook to /includes/hooks but still get the Confirm Password. Just for fun I then tried IE rather than Chrome. I still get the Confirm Password but I get past it without a 404.

I am good for now, thanks again!

the form will still appear for a split second, but the hook should automatically forward you on the intended page... it doesn't necessarily work automatically on all pages, but should in setup -> general settings and a few others.

it's a ridiculously annoying feature.
