Iceman
We had a similar problem after upgrading. Not sure to what version though. Luckily we weren't live with WHMCS at that stage so we simply reinstalled. That solved our problem. Cheers, Paul
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted December 5, 2007 WHMCS CEO Share Posted December 5, 2007 You'll be getting one of two errors, encryption code invalid in which case it is so copy it again or invalid access attempt. If you get the latter, open a ticket as you have some settings incorrect. Matt
sloop
regarding the 'Invalid Access Attempt' error, I had the same problem and opened a ticket with whmcs. The problem was that I was accessing WHMCS using a URL different from what is configured as the system URL in WHMCS settings. for example if your whmcs url is 'https://www.domain.com/whmcs/' then you'll get this error if you omit the httpS or the www in the url.

WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted February 24, 2011 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted February 24, 2011 To avoid this error, please ensure you are logging into your admin area using the exact URL defined in Setup > General Settings. If for example your WHMCS System URL is set to http://www.example.com/whmcs/, you would need to login to your admin area at http://www.example.com/whmcs/admin. If you login at http://example.com/whmcs/admin this can cause the Invalid Access Attempt message (note the www. was omitted).
aptohosting
What if the system auto-redirects to the https version?
m8internet
What if the system auto-redirects to the https version? It shouldn't make any difference as both URL will commence https (if the installation is configured correctly and all incoming links are https)
