Dont Require Payment for Service At Checkout?

I am going to use WHMCS for my web design business.

The way I offer web design is I design the homepage before being paid and if the client likes the website, then they pay.

How can I make it so WHMCS doesn't charge upfront for the service at checkout?

Thanks!

I don't see any offline payment option except for offline credit card which is not what I want.

Mail In Payment and Bank Transfer would be the two obvious ones - either of which you could rename... they'd at least allow the order to compete without the need for the client to pay immediately... though an invoice would be sent and the clock would begin on reminders etc.

How would I go about changing the payment method to PayPal once they are ready to pay?

if you mean ordering via the cart as opposed to quotes, then you have at least two choices...

1. enable "Clients Choose Gateway" in setup -> general settings -> invoices and the client can choose themselves which payment gateway to pay with.

2. go to the Client's Profile, click on the Products/Services tab, choose the appropriate web design package they've ordered and change the Payment Method to "Paypal".
