ZoXx
sorry i thought it was clear. we give subscriptions and sell software. we would like to have a field or something like that, where we can put the key or license number in. So the customer can see it in product details or something like that.

WHMCS ChrisD
Hello ZoXx, There are a couple of options, 1. Create a Custom Product Field http://docs.whmcs.com/Custom_Fields Products you create can also have custom fields added to them which are then shown to the user during the order process. This allows you to collect further information specific to an individual product. These are set when configuring a product in Setup > Products/Services > Products/Services > Edit > Custom Fields tab . . 2. Have you considered the WHMCS Licensing Module https://marketplace.whmcs.com/product/22

brian!
but it is shown in order? we only need it in product details later then you must have the "Show on Order Form" checkbox ticked... just untick it and it shouldn't appear during ordering.
