yggdrasil
Is it possible to have security questions localized? Security answers by nature is not something most people understand, this is why when enabled, WHMCS actually displays a dialog on Why to use them on the registration page. But big problem, if they are in the default language only they cannot be completed by the other users or worse they will not understand what it means and not be able to register or complete garbage data and not be able to reset the password or answer it in the future. I know most of you probably disabled them for this reason, but this is not a solution for those that need them to provide an extra security step for their users and that need them to identify users for certain sensitive account actions. This is horrible if you can't localize them.
yggdrasil
I guess besides the obvious solution to adding them in different languages in the list like: *** English *** What is your favorite....? *** Icelandic *** Hvað er uppáhalds....? That is a bit messy and would not work if you use tons of languages (would be too long very quick), the above method could work if you then identify in the templates the languages and just display those to the user side. So you would leave the defaults in English (or your other default locale) and lets asume you have also French you would add them like What is your favorite? *french* What is your favorite? Then in the templates if locale es FR (french) use *french* only otherwise defaults. Just an idea. I will try this eventually and update the post to see if it works as I have done something similar with other parts that are not by nature multi language in WHMCS. brian!
I posted a tutorial about this at the start of October 2014 about how to do it in the templates - a week later, it sparked sentq into developing the idea into a free action hook... https://forum.whmcs.com/showthread.php?94119-Tutorial-How-to-setup-and-use-Multi-Language-Security-Questions https://forum.whmcs.com/showthread.php?94270-Free-Module-Multi-Language-Security-Questions if it still works with v7, and I have no reason to think that it won't, go with the hook solution.

Wow, thank you! I was not aware of that and it seems its actually similar to what I posted. What a coincide that people tend to think similar in some cases
