Stripe API Update

Recommended Posts

So I just noticed that Stripe has updated their API since 2016-07-06 and I am wondering whether WHMCS has already tested it and is confirmed to be working properly? Are we able to upgrade the API without any problems? I don't want to upgrade and then have customers coming back having issues with their payments.

See attachment.

P.S. Please switch to XenForo, this attachment system is from like 1920.

Hi Lucas,

There are no breaking changes in this API version, it's fine to upgrade to it, Stripe also provides six hours to roll back so you can also run a test payment after the conversion if you wish.

P.S. Please switch to XenForo, this attachment system is from like 1920.

I'm sorry, we're sticking with VB for now

@Lucas, did you upgrade the API on Stripe end? All go ok?

Previously I thought the Stripe module called the specific API version (date).. but unlike the Serverping module, the native Stripe integration might not do this.. I haven't looked myself yet.
