vigasan
I've set up WHMCS and my first client who tried to register a domain was able to pay but the domain name wasn't automatically registered. I got the error code "User not permitted from this IP address - 4" and retrying gives me the same error. I've already whitelisted my IP address (that my hosting provider gave me) with eNom but they said that the WHMCS IP may be different from what I whitelisted and that WHMCS would be able to give me a script to detect my IP. Unfortunately, I got WHMCS packages with my reseller account on InMotion Hosting so I don't have an account with WHMCS to use to open a ticket. Does someone know the script or know where I can find the IP address to whitelist?
WHMCS ChrisD
Hi Vigasan, You can check the IP our license server sees under Help > License Information. As a reseller customer tickets can be opened at whmcs.com/resellersupport

vigasan
Hey, that's showing the same IP address as my host provided me. I'm going to try what the comment below says as well, I have a feeling that's going to work. Thank you for your time though! - - - Updated - - - I'm going to try this now. I read this post initially but never read that final message after people started giving up! I've asked eNom to whitelist the IPs in Softaculous so I'll let you know how it goes. I'm going to contact InMotion Hosting and tell them to update their information since their technical support was pretty much useless. EDIT: Using the IP address retrieved from the URL of the Softaculous installation page worked. A full day before InMotion Hosting messaged me with the IP for the actual server Thanks guys!
