Different Price for First Time Order & Renewal

Hello!

 

This is my scenario:

 

Same like other hosting providers, we need to give an initial time discount to the orders.

 

During signup, we need to give 20% discount to the one-year hosting, but for the renewal, there will be no discounts.

 

i.e., during signup for one year $80

 

For renewal $100

 

How to implement this?

 

Please help.

you could use a promotion code - that would discount the initial price but not the renewal (assuming you don't set it to recur).

As Brian said promotions would be the way to go.

 

Ensure that the recurring checkout isn't checked then it will only apply the set discount the first time. Seeing as it's for one-year hosting this will work well for you.
