What if Pipe an Incoming Email with Receipt not in Support Department?

Hi,

 

If I create a support department with email address support@mydomain.com, then create the following two forwarders in cPanel to pipe the incoming emails:

 

support@mydomain.com -> | php -q /home/username/public_html/whmcs/crons/pipe.php

sales@mydomain.com -> | php -q /home/username/public_html/whmcs/crons/pipe.php

 

Then since the support department is only use support@mydomain.com as the email address, what will it do with the emails sent to sales@mydomain.com?

 

Based on my own test, it seems the emails to sales@mydomain.com will also be piped into the support department instead of being rejected, but I cannot find any official document on this.
