Hi, Has anyone be able to use WHMCS on PHP 8.2? Based on https://docs.whmcs.com/PHP_Version_Support_Matrix it is not supported yet. But we need to use software that requires PHP 8.2, which is in the same domain as WHMCS. Thanks

Hi, When I click a ticket, I see the following error: Unimported Replies The following replies were blocked and are not visible in this ticket: 20/09/2023 09:00 - RE: [Ticket ID: 763597] License issue I try to click the Ticket subject, and then get the following error: An error occurred while communicating with the server. Please try again. So, how to solve this issue?

Yes, you are correct. Other than the 2 ways I provided, I miss the 3rd method: 1. Ticket imported via pipe. I check cPanel > Email > Default address and find there are some domains whose default address is set to pipe into WHMCS, which causes a lot of spams. After removing the pipe, everything is OK.

Hi, I just try to figure out how the spam emails go to my support department. For example, for one department, I uses a Gmail account example@gmail.com, and use cron task to import emails via POP3. I set to archive the emails in Gmail after importing it. Now I think there are only two ways to submit a ticket: 1. Via a submit ticket form. 2. By sending emails to example@gmail.com I check "Support Ticket Mail Import Log", and find the spam ticket will have a "Ticket Imported Successfully" entry in the log. I submit a ticket via method 1 above, and find the ticket will not create a log entry, so the spam ticket is not created with method 1. I then check the archived emails in Gmail but cannot find the spam tickets, so the spam ticket is also not created with method 2. So, I just wonder where the spam emails come?

Form send ticket to email instead of the support department directly?
alanccw replied to alanccw's topic in Using WHMCS
Yes, by doing so, I can utilize the anti-spam filter in Gmail to filter out some spam emails automatically. in WHMCS, there is anti-spam filter as good as Gmail. -
Hi, I have an email support@gmail.com. I then create a support department with this mailbox, and receive the messages via Google OAuth POP3. Now I find if the user submit the ticket via the form, such as https://www.datanumen.com/customer/submitticket.php?step=2&deptid=3, then the ticket will go to the support department directly, instead of sending to the email support@gmail.com Is there a way to always make the ticket send to the mailbox first? I want to let Google Spam Filter to filter out the spam emails, and then the suppport department receive the remaining emails back to WHMCS system?

Hi, How to know the Google reCaptcha is enabled? I have followed all the instructions in https://docs.whmcs.com/Google_reCAPTCHA#Captcha_Locations and now in the submit ticket form https://www.datanumen.com/customer/submitticket.php?step=2&deptid=3, I does not see anything since it is invisible. How can I know it is working? I have submitted a test ticket. However, the "Total Verfication" in Google reCaptcha is always 0.

No. I am not using Google Recaptcha, just a standard image captcha in the Pre-sales form. I will try this option if possible. Thank you very much for the great help.

Hi, Damo, I check the issue in details. And find "General Settings" > "Mail" will control how WHMCS send emails. By default, it will use PHP mailer. And my setting is the default one. So actually it is uses the PHP on local server to send the email. Now I have changed the sending mode to "SMTP" and use Google OAuth, now I can find the sent emails in the GMail account as well. Thank you very much for your helps.

I sent the reply via a Support department in WHMCS, which will use the Google Workspace account to send the email. However, I cannot find it in the "Sent" folder in the GMail account. The reply is only shown in the WHMCS ticket.

Hi, One of my emails is sent from WHMCS with Google OAuth(I have a Gmail business version account). But the receiver seems not get it. Now I need to get the raw message and the message header so that Google support can analyze the reason. Thank you.

Hi, I have two departments, pre-sales department and support department. To submit ticket to any department, one should fill out a form, including an image verification. Like this: https://www.datanumen.com/customer/submitticket.php?step=2&deptid=4 The strange thing is that recently, there are a lot of spam emails to the pre-sales department, but very few to the support department. How can that be? And how to check whether the spammers are sending emails to the email address of the departments, instead of using the online submission form? Thanks

How can I make sure the language is always set to English by default?
-
Hi, When I visit the submit ticket page at https://www.datanumen.com/customer/submitticket.php, the language will be selected to a strange one "Persian". So, I just wonder whether WHMCS has the function to auto-select lanuage based on the visitor's IP address? If yes, how to disable that feature? Thanks

Hi, Currently I am using GMail and want to use WHMCS to receive/send emails via the GMail account. I check the document at https://help.whmcs.com/m/support_tools/l/1328652-setting-up-pop3-importing-with-oauth-via-google but still have some questions: 1. If I have two Google account, account1 and account2. Then I create the Google app via account1. After that, can I receive emails for account2 via this app? Thanks.

Hi, I use Screaming Frog and it shows that all pages generated by WHMCS does not contain a canonical URL, such as this one https://www.datanumen.com/customer/submitticket.php. So my question is how to add a canonical URL for each page generated by WHMCS? Thanks

Hi, Currently I am using WHMCS as a help desk ticket system, so the shopping cart feature is not used. However, Google will still index the shopping cart page https://www.example.com/customer/cart.php?a=view. Is there a way to remove this page from the WHMCS system?

Hi, Recently I am using Cloudflare on my site. And I add the following rule to bypass the cache for WHMCS system, as below: Yesterday, it seems that everything is fine. And this morning, I can still login WHMCS at https://www.datanumen.com/customer/admin/login.php, but due to some inactivities, I am logged out. Thereafter, I cannot login any more. After inputting the login details and click "Login" button, the page will be refreshed and continue display the login page with the two edit boxes. I try many times, and all fails. How to solve this issue?
