Hello Folks,

Can someone explain "Access All Tickets Directly" admin permission and also refer to a document in which all the permissions are defined/ explained.

I would like to restrict my staff to list all support tickets but view them when they click on "view all support tickets" under client summary page.

Hi there,

I'd assume that 'Access all tickets directly' does just what it says. As long as the staff member knows the URL of the ticket, irregardless of whether or not they're assigned to the department, they can view it. Otherwise, they wouldn't be able to if they weren't assigned.

If you want to restrict access to staff, you probably don't want that field checked :)

The documentation for permissions is definitely something that needs to be improved. I really don't see anything in the docs page at all there.

^ Exactly this.

When enabled, if staff know the full URL of a ticket they can view it in the admin area, even if it belongs to a department to which they are not assigned.
