ATSLarry
Hello, I made several modifications to the WHMCS files to add some stuff in there for my installation. It's time to upgrade my WHMCS installation. I don't want WHMCS causing all of my changes to be lost. How can I avoid WHMCS from destroying my changes? Also, I forgot all of the different files that I modified. Is there is a trick to this? Regards, Larry
PascM
Hi, It depends on how, where, you made those modifications
zomex
Hello Larry, Did you customise the Six template or are you using a custom template? If it's a custom template which WHMCS template is it based on? There's a lot of factors that come into play so let us know more details and we will be happy to advise.
bear
I forgot all of the different files that I modified. Is there is a trick to this? Use a comparison program to compare the contents of the new download against the existing files. I generally keep a copy of the full site locally, then when an upgrade is needed, download the new and load them both into BeyondCompare (paid). UltraCompare (paid) is another, or even WinMerge (free).
