blakeh
Customer gets email that domain is expiring in 60 days. They login to do early renewal and now we have a pending order for the domain renewal. The renewal processed but this pending order now looks like a duplicate. If I accept it, what happens? Can I delete it safely and everything be ok? This seems clunky.
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted March 29, 2016 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted March 29, 2016 Hi, The client placed an order on your website, so an order record appears in the WHMCS Admin area. With WHMCS it's always necessary to manually approve pending orders even if all the services/domains have been provisioned automatically. This gives you an opportunity to keep track of new orders received and run any manual checks your business practices require. For more information please refer to our documentation: http://docs.whmcs.com/Order_Management
blakeh
My confusion is that it now appears as though I have two orders for the same domain. One for the original registration and now a pending for the renewal. So do I just accept it?
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted March 30, 2016 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted March 30, 2016 Hi, Yes once you've confirmed the domain is renewed at your registrar, accepting the renewal order is the appropriate thing to do.
