ody
Hello WHMCS users, We face many issues with our new one 6.2.2 installation Brief: We use about 6 months now WHMCS as it is the most common Billing system and most registars have this one as a standard so we change our old one to WHMCS. We had 6.1.2 which works and when we upgrade to 6.2.2 (with patch way) we face many problems which caused by whoisservers.php mainly which have many wrong entries, we found out this after deleting all 6.2.1. version and re-installing!!!! a new clear 6.2.2. version (with Softaculous). Any way we have many issues with our new one installation. 1. There is no any .htaccess - is it possible ? 2. Hooks dir have no entry? 3. When crons works repeating all system orders about 60 times ? 4. Domainsync do not sync any existen domain entries from their registars. System Health do not point anything and also discovers our hidden paths which means that crons etc. are conected with the rest WHMCS installation. Thank you in advance, Ody
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted March 25, 2016 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted March 25, 2016 Hi, To address your points: 1. There is a htaccess.txt file, you can rename it to .htaccess Relevant documentation: http://docs.whmcs.com/Support_Center#Search_Engine_Friendly_URLS 2. Correct, by default the directory is empty. You'd typically upload customisations here. 3. Please review your cron job schedule, it sounds like it's scheduled to run every minute instead of once per day. Relevant documentation: http://docs.whmcs.com/Crons 4. This is not something the domain sync script does. It will check the domains in WHMCS against your domain registrar and update the expiry date accordingly. You can add existing domains to WHMCS by following these instructions: http://docs.whmcs.com/Importing_Data#Manual_Domain_Only_Entry
ody
Thank you for your reply John and sorry for my delay to reply, About cron we have check it but for some days now do not work? but our main system works properly. Also we would like to note you the following, WHMCS as the most common & popular Billing System which most registrants companies use it by default you have to give some simple tools as end customers users, like 1. a simple email authentication 2. an option for our master domain so to be able an admin to leave it free for subdomain creation or not so scummers to do not sign into our billing system with any as sub-of.ourmasterdomain.com!!!!! 3. checkbox for domain TLD search!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOW there are some 100s of old and new domains and many more will come at least there is must be this option and one more like check all domains!!!!! 4. whoisserver entries are almost total unreliable??? SOS!!! as you know very well, whoisserver is one of the most important file of your system, which is not updated and also after many troubles we find out that our WHMCS wasn't work because those entries was wrong and system-domain check was stuck into search environment 5. Possibility to easily change our navigation bar with a sticky menu option 6.1. Simple firewall!!! even as an addon 6.2. A system, antivirus and anti-injection check even as an addon, all global WHMCS users have into their databases very sensitive personal or company clinets data at least there must be an official WHMCS addon for it. Thank you patience, Ody

ody
Thank you John for your reply message, All those which we had point into our ex-message, as we see, already has been mentioned many times in the past from other users-clients since some years now so it's up to your company to fix or add them. Also we had visit your market place and we already buy 1-2 tools-modules, but who are they???, there is no any official system of yours to check them so we as end users to trust them, also many of these modules are too old (some years ago) and all these are still in your directory, Any way thank you again John.
