Yes, it can be done, been doing it for one site for a couple of years.

I haven't yet seen this done in terms of dynamic updating content. If it's possible I'd love to see how it's done though.

Let me clarify that it can be done, but you are going to need a bridge to do this. Pro's and Con's to using a WHMCS - WordPress Bridge.

We are actually using WHMCS as a powerful Membership site manager for WordPress. And yes merging both the WordPress theme with the WordPress theme. However, I highly recommend you use a WordPress Bootstrap theme if you are going to make it work with the WHMCS Six theme.

 

There are several bridges out there, you might take a look at i-plugins.com, which is the one we use. For our hosting site we do not use it.
