WHMCS Software from Softaculous

BurkeKnight

Question

I noticed that Softaculous includes WHMCS.

Now, I also know, you need a license to use WHMCS.

However, before I buy a license, could I install WHMCS onto a test domain, and try out settings and work on a template design, to be ported over to a licensed running copy after get the license?

I'd like to try out some of the things in it, and get a template going, now, while I wait on getting the rest of my web host and the funds to buy a license ready.

EDIT: Okay, I saw about the dev license, but that unfortunately does not help out before buying...

Also, how do you register at the main WHMCS site, without doing an order?

Hi,

Thanks for your interest in WHMCS.

It is necessary to purchase a licence key before you can install the WHMCS software, through Softaculous or otherwise. We offer a 30 day money back guarantee, so should you decide WHMCS is not for you, you'll get a refund of the licence fee during that period: http://www.whmcs.com/order/
