brian!
What do you mean by full time? I haven't heard of this before and I'm curious what I think he's talking about Jack is that .ro domains can currently be registered, via the Romanian registry, for a one-time fee - so no renewals. http://rotld.ro/portal/pages/en/6/ The registration is 51,26$+VAT(20%), one-time payment. There is no yearly fee at present. When yearly fee will be introduced, you will be informed. though most registrars treat them as normal TLDs and charge for renewals annually... probably in anticipation that one day they will follow the same procedures as other TLDs... what happens to these one-time registrations at that point, who knows! unfortunately, you can't have one-time domain registrations in WHMCS - i've seen a few feature requests for this going back 3+ years (specifically for .ro), so it's unlikely WHMCS are going to add the feature. so you'll need a workaround - writing an addon/hook to allow for this would probably be the best solution, but you'd likely have to pay for that by posting in Marketplace. next option would be to use a hosting product (dummy), with a required domain - make the domain free if it's .ro (or .com.ro, .org.ro etc) and price the product to match your domain price... this way the customer will be charged a one-off fee and won't be asked to renew in the future. but then you'd also have to modify domainchecker and/or orderform template, to not show .ro domains with x year options, but link the .ro search results to your dummy product with the searched domain already in the link... that could be simple or difficult depending on your choice of order-form template... I think it would work, but would require editing the templates. in any event, there is no quick way to do this.
