CCSupport
Hello all, We have a requirement to copy a number of client accounts, including client details etc. from one WHMCS server to another. Is there an easy way to export the client info and then import? As the details are simply in the database I understand it can be done, however it's making sure all the right tables etc. are selected for import. However, as client IDs would need to be changed within the DB my initial guess is this isn't a good way! Hoping there is some tool/plugin to do this. Any advice would be appreciated.
sentq
check here if someone else has done this before http://forum.whmcs.com/forumdisplay.php?18-Import-Scripts It can be done manually it will be better also, but you need to be careful anyway
brian!
i'm not aware of any working export/import script for v6 - there is a script that allows you to merge two WHMCS installations (if they are using the same version), but I don't think WHMCS have updated this for v6 yet. http://www.whmcs.com/members/downloads.php?action=displaycat&catid=2 you might want to check with support about that as they'll know the current state of that script better than me.
CCSupport
Thanks for the replies. I have raised a support ticket to make sure as one instance is v5 and the other is v6...adding to the issues! Thanks
