tomb
We are using PayPal Subscription in WHMCS v5 which is a great feature. Recently there’s one scenario we’ve stumbled upon. What do you do if your customer upgrades to another hosting plan? I’ve noticed that WHMCS doesn’t update the Subscription. It still charges for the initial recurring payment. Unfortunately this will lead to double payments and additional support emails. Also, PayPal Subscription doesn’t allow to adjust the hosting plan with more than 20% difference from the one they are on. So, we have to cancel and start a new subscription which is not very convenient for both clients and support. Any solution? Thanks for your help.
Motofreak
Stop using paypal subscriptions, Call Paypal and have them enable "RTC transactions" you will need to answer a few extra questions and once its enabled use this plugin WHMCS Mywork plugin It will convert all your clients paypal subscriptions and run via the nightly cron job to auto pay like credit cards. Over a year of using it and works great. And no I don't work for them, I'm just simply passing along the info.

Where do I find more information about that? Who is maintaining the plugin? Is it free, paid update subscription..?

WHMCS Mywork is exactly I was looking for. What are requirements for the PayPal reference transaction approval? Are there any recurring PayPal gateway costs or minimum payments?
Si
,,,,,,,,, you need to enable "reference transaction" on your paypal account. good luck with that. been using paypal for more than 10 years with zero chargebacks and hundreds of thousands (GBP) in transactions and they are taking some convincing to enable this. Gave up in the end. So, they (oaypal lose out) as customers are preferring other payment methods.
