Invoice due - hook

Hi,

I have some customers who have older bills late (arrears for 60 days for example). I wonder if there is a hook so you can automatically send the customer a warning that the invoice is overdue. For example, setting the entire invoice is 60 days past due, receives an e-mail using a specific template.

When I will send to the client, I have to go from invoice to invoice and send the e-mail using a template.

I wanted to automate it. Would ?

Sysber,

what about using the existing Overdue Reminder settings ?

http://docs.whmcs.com/Automation_Settings#Overdue_Reminders

Overdue Reminders

If an invoice hasn’t been paid this many days after the due date these emails will be sent to the customer to remind them to pay.

you can have a maximum of three reminder emails for each invoice, each using it's own email template, and can be sent x number of days after the payment is due.

so you could set the "Third Invoice Overdue Notice" email to 60 days, and it would send out the templated email to the customer.

Hi,

I already knew. :)

I already have this set up:

First 2 days

Second time 4 days

Third time in 6 days

Ok. And after that?

For example, I want the system automatically sends 20 days? There is no longer this option in WHMCS (fourth, fifth time). And I have to do it manually.

I do not want to have to change options with 2, 4, 6 days.

This is very much needed in WHMCS, because you only have 3 reminder options.

Hi,

if the customer has received an invoice, an unpaid reminder and three overdue reminders, i'm not sure how many more reminders they should need before they get the hint to pay the invoice!

This is very much needed in WHMCS, because you only have 3 reminder options.

i'm not aware of any existing addon/hook that can do this, so you are effectively left with three options.

1. if you want WHMCS to add additional overdue reminders options, then you'll need to create a feature request - but there's no guarantee that they will add the feature (probably close to no chance!) - even if they do, it's unlikely to be any time soon.

2. make a post in Marketplace and pay someone to write an action hook / addon to do this.

3. hope someone posts a hook in this thread - but that's unlikely.

the easier solutions would be to change the 2,4,6 days settings and spread them out - or pay someone to write the hook.

As Brian said, they've received 5 reminders about their due invoice (the invoice notification, an unpaid reminder and three overdue reminders). I can't imagine any case where that shouldn't be plenty of reminders. If they still don't pay their bill, you might want to suspend their service. Especially if their invoice is 2 months past due.
