PDF Receipts

Dear all,

We urgently need a developer to add a Print Receipt button as well an option to send a PDF Receipt to the customer

This is as legal requirement in our country

That's already built in. Just enable the option in your setup to include a PDF when emailing.

 

The option to Download and print is also available to clients when they log into their account.

Setup > General Settings > Invoices > Enable PDF Invoices

 

You really should look at all the options in Setup if you're not familiar with how WHMCS functions. docs.whmcs.com is also a good reference.

if enabled, as Damo suggests, the "Invoice Payment Confirmation" email template will send the paid version of the PDF invoice - the wording of the email can be modified to suit your needs.

But what I get is the invoice file again, not the receipt.

well it depends on how you define a receipt - a paid invoice is a receipt in a sense.

 

however, there is nothing to stop you from modifying the PDF invoice, so that it initially sends out an "invoice" (as it does now) - but once paid, it sends a "receipt" which uses a different design from the invoice and looks exactly how you want/need it to look.
