Mystere
I'm not sure what the issue number & start date is when the user is entering a CC. My understanding is that European cards have those? Anyway, those or a bit confusing for those of us in the states that don't have those. Is it possible to get rid of those prompts on the order pages?
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted October 11, 2007 WHMCS CEO Share Posted October 11, 2007 Yes, you can just remove them from the creditcard.tpl template file. Matt

opt2bout
Yes, you can just remove them from the creditcard.tpl template file. Matt Matt, Is this the same as the CSC number (I'm assuming so since its a 3-digit code)?
Brett
No, the only time a person enters a CSC number is on the order page. It is illegal to store that numbers in the database.
opt2bout
Thanks...I'll remove the issue and start dates from the tpl file as matt suggested...I just didn't want to disable anything else.

JasonO
You probably don't store it - it's only used when processing through to InternetSecure.
9DollarDomains
Yes, you can just remove them from the creditcard.tpl template file.I've gone into templates/portal/ and removed the last two <tr>'s from the template - the issue and start date stuff. However, when I view Card info through the admin and/or from the customer side, it's still there...
JasonO
You will need to edit all the templates which have the fields on it. Since your only hiding it by removing it from the clien'ts view - your not actually removing it from the system.
wizzy420
How will you take orders from people overseas? I just put a comment on mine that says "US customers will most likely not need a issue number and start dates. Certain European customers may need to enter this information" and it's fine.
9DollarDomains
Yes, you can just remove them from the creditcard.tpl template file. So, if we are using the portal templates, would we need to remove those lines from /templates/portal/creditcard.tpl?
JasonO
It may be in there, or it can be in /templates/orderforms/{template} if not.
9DollarDomains
Hi. I can't find where to remove it. We really don't need an issue number or a start date on our customer's credit card forms (or at the least, we need it to say 'optional info' under it) but I've been through all the template files and just can't figure out where to edit this. Any help would be appreciated.
PPH
clientareacreditcard.tpl & creditcard.tpl Both of which will be in the template you use.
