Registrar Error

Hello,

I have noticed today that when a user tries to register a domain, I always see an error and I need to register the domain manually.

The error is:

* Registrar Error

An error occurred: Failed to connect to api.namecheap.com port 443: Connection timed out *

I have talked to namecheap support and they told me to upgrade WHMCS to latest version, in which I did, and I still receive this error. The error also appears when I click on a clients profile and select *Domains* tab.

Any suggestions ?

Hi,

This suggests your server is having difficulty connecting to Namecheap at api.namecheap.com on port 443.

Please check with your server admin/hosting provider that nothing in the server firewall/security measures is blocking the connection.
