Nord
Hi guys I have a bit of a weird issue on my hands. See picture for reference. I use the danish language on my site and everything works as it should, the danish character set is displayed just fine throughout the page. But when i add an item to my cart and begin the checkout process, some elements fail to show these special characters. I have checked that my files is saved in UTF-8 format, but i am bit at a loss here and have no idea where to look for a solution. Please help.

Nord
sentq tx for the response I checked and they are in UTF-8 format and the System char set is set to utf-8. The weird thing is, that if you look closely at the picture you can see that ÆØÅ is displayed throughout the checkout process, but not on the buttons or the billing cycle.

brian!
I just tried our dev site in Danish, using the Comparison template, and it looks fine - there's certainly no weird characters as with your image. have you tried switching to another order form template (ideally one that comes with WHMCS) to see if it occurs in that too? have you checked to see that the order-form templates themselves are saved in utf-8 ? sentq's suggestions were my first thoughts too - my second are to assume that it must be the language file and/or template - so if changing template doesn't solve it, it couldn't hurt to upload the danish language file again from the latest WHMCS full download.
Nord
brian, tx man you steered me in the right direction. I tried to change the Sites theme but it never occurred to me to change the actual order form like you suggested. If i choose any of the other order form templates the danish character set is displayed correctly. I will try to replace the files of that order form in particular with a fresh set and see what happens. At least now i know where to look. Tx again man.
Nord
Just tried to replace the files in the vertical steps order form template with a set of fresh files from whmcs zip file. Same thing, the issue persist. Brian would you be so kind to check that Vertical Steps order form on your installation with the danish language?

Brian would you be so kind to check that Vertical Steps order form on your installation with the danish language? just tried it and it works fine - no weird characters. i'd have also suggested clearing the template cache - so sentq's on telepathic form today! utilities -> system -> system clean -> empty template cache what are you using to upload the files - i'm wondering if that could be causing the issue?
Nord
That could be. Thanks man. I have direct access to the server. The whmcs file was downloaded directly to the server, extracted with Winrar and copied to the respective directory. The Server is a Windows 2012 R2 datacenter ed. Running IIS 8.5.
