0 isdoo
oh okay - I was going to comment on one proposal, and couldn't find a way to register to login to comment. 0 bibleman
Why would one want hourly billing at this era when some major webhosts are billing for a decade?
0 jnet
Bibleman I do not think he is using it for hosting. LOL I want the same thing please

0 HH - Dan
Bibleman I do not think he is using it for hosting. LOLI want the same thing please Correct, I do not want to bill customers for hosting by the hour But, we do custom work for our customers that we charge and hourly rate for, it would be good to have an option to add this in so the next invoice is generated with their standard charge (hosting) and another line for custom work.
0 ckh
Instead of limiting it to hourly billing, have a qty that could be used for hourly billing or if you are selling more than one of the same item. That would give it a little more flexibility.
0 HH - Dan
That would be ideal.
0 wordman
I understand this need as it is mine as well. As a developer I am building my own plug in that will cover hourly billing, but doing this knowing it will be a real challenge. A plug in is definitely the answer, as it is not needed as a standard feature, so can be a paid plugin to support an awesome system. I work a full time hourly job as webmaster, and run my hosting business on the side. Being holistic in thinking I of course wish this integration, and actually (LOL) will start handing my boss an invoice with time card as a joke.....but seriously, I consider my day job as part of my side job.
0 WHMCS Customer Service WHMCS Kim Posted November 9, 2012 WHMCS Customer Service Share Posted November 9, 2012 Hi Guys, Not sure if you are familiar with our Billable Items feature http://docs.whmcs.com/Billable_Items This can be used for billing for hourly as you can input an hourly rate as well as the amount of hours to be billed. If you need to track time spent on a project you could use the Project Management addon http://www.whmcs.com/addons/project-management/ and use the Bill for Task Time Entries button. Hope this helps!
