DJFireCFH
When someone places a new order, we have noticed that in the emails they receive, they get all the proper information except for 1 line: {$service_domain) It doesnt show anything, its just blank on that line, everything else though, (username, password, server name, etc), all shows properly, its just {$service_domain) that is not showing. What could cause this problem ? (have checked the logs as well, and there are no errors that show up)
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted February 10, 2015 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted February 10, 2015 Hi, What category is the email template listed under on the Setup > Email Template page please? Is the "Domain" field filled in under the client's Products/Services tab at the time of email sending?
ScottN
Hi John. I have the same problem. I've created a custom email template under Setup > Email Templates > Product/Service Messages. I am using {$service_domain} in the Subject and in the Body. When I am on the client's Product/Services tab, and I have an active hosting account chosen, the client's Domain is properly listed. At the bottom of this screen, if I choose the Template that I created, next to "Send Message" and send that message, the domain name is NOT inserted where {$service_domain} is listed in the template. Any other ideas? FYI, I followed the same process to create a custom email template for a Domain, and it works perfectly (although it requires a different merge field, {$domain_name}, of course). - Scott
