when accepting an order (with module create and send welcome email ticked)

There is a period of loading, then chrome gives me the message "No data received" (Error code: ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE) yet virtual server is created successfully in Virtualmin.... Must then manually send out emails... unsure what to do about this!!

 

any help would be appreciated!

Hi,

Is WHMCS installed on the same server upon which you're provisioning client accounts? If so, it sounds like the server is doing some kind of restart after provisioning, which is killing WHMCS so it doesn't receive confirmation of the account creation.

I had a very similar issue recently which I've recently resolved.

 

I had a Plesk 12 server which was also running my WHMCS install. I believe what was happening is that when an account was created on Plesk, it would restart apache causing any currently running processes on WHMCS to terminate. I moved my WHMCS install off onto a separate server and it now works perfectly fine

 

I know it is a different platform but it sounds related.
