Income report per country

Hi,

 

Due to the new EU VAT laws, I need reports that show the monthly, quarterly and annually income per country.

 

Is this available / can somebody develop this?

I know that the ModulesGarden Report Generator can display income by country - but I suspect @ $100 it's going to be overkill for your needs.

I can also recall someone mentioning in one of the EU VAT threads that they'll be updating their released VAT report pack to include the necessary updates to accommodate the recent tax rule changes.

MOSS haven't provided access to the reporting system yet, and so we can't say at this stage exactly what requirements this has, but we are expecting to learn more soon and will be providing the appropriate reporting tools in due course.

I would guess/hope/assume (delete as applicable!) that they'll be another WHMCS update before the VAT reports have to be submitted to the tax authorities in April - but even if there isn't, someone will release an appropriate updated report before then.

haha, yeah that's a fair summary.

 

it's not urgent at this stage, but if WHMCS don't release something before the time we have to submit the VAT return, then I or someone else will create a report - it's technically not difficult to do now if we needed to, but we might as well wait for WHMCS to have a crack at it first.

yeah i have had this on my list for a while and have not gotten to it so ill gladly pass it off to ya brian or someone else just so it gets done as im just not able to do so.

well as we all pay WHMCS for updates, i'll see if they do anything first!

it's an inconvenience and an unnecessary complication, but it's no big deal.

 

I think I read somewhere that EU and US are trying to do some deal where you would pay the VAT via the IRS... no doubt there'll be years of negotiations on that before it comes in!
