Hello,

I'm trying to set up a PLESK server in WHMCS and I keep getting the following error when testing the connection:

 

FAILED: Error code: 0. Error message: Unable to find appropriate manager for this version of Panel.

 

The PLESK version that I use is 11.0.9, so I chose PLESK from the dropdown list, because there were only four options: Plesk, Plesk 8, Plesk 9 and Plesk 10. Do you guys have any ideas on how to solve this issue?

PS: It also says this: Plesk should be at least 8.0 version. but as I said, I have Plesk 11.0.9.

What version of WHMCS are you running please? This shouldn't be a problem in v5.3.10:

 

Case #5128 - Fix server connection test for existing servers

 

If you are running v5.3.10, try re-entering the server username and password/access hash and try again.

You ARE using the correct module in "plesk". Under the server setup, be sure to check the box: Tick to use SSL Mode for Connections

I was able to duplicate your error in our own setup with the same verion of plesk when I "Unchecked" the SSL mode....so that should be your solution by enabling that.

Thank you for your answers. I have PLESK 11.0.9. I get the error I wrote about when the SSL Mode for Connections is ticked. When it's not, I get the following error: FAILED: Error code: 0. Error message: Curl error: [56] Recv failure: Connection reset by peer. So I don't know what else to try.

Do you have a valid SSL installed on the control panel?

No... I tried to connect now using port 80 and 8880 without checking SSL (I think those are the ports for http). With 8880 it keeps loading when I press Test connection and with port 80 I get the same error like before, with the PLESK version.

Try registering a cheap $29 SSL?. I'm not certain if the plesk panel api talks openly without a valid SSL. Maybe that's something Parallels counld answer for you?
