Ticket autoresponse to bouncebacks - need to limit the number

Hi,

 

I've been receiving spam tickets from non-existent email addresses, and each time it triggers about 10 ticket responses, as the system keeps sending bounceback errors and the ticketing system responds.

 

The web server manager indicates that it is a ticketing system cron/bounce setting and not a server setting. I couldn't find any info on it anywhere.

 

Can anyone please help me with what I should be adjusting?

Hi,

WHMCS will automatically block auto-responder loops like this if 10 emails are received from the same address within a 15 minute period: http://docs.whmcs.com/Email_Piping#Blocked_Potential_Email_Loop

 

This number isn't something you can currently customise. But as an alternative, consider blocking the auto-responder emails you get from clients via Setup > Support > Spam Control.
