websavers
When a response to a ticket comes in via email from a Blackberry 10 OS, the formatting is problematic in two ways: Line endings have been stripped Some CSS code is occasionally shown inline Here is a sample of one such ticket response: body { font-family: "Calibri","Slate Pro","sans-serif"; color:#262626 } Hi there. Could you please whitelist [iP] asap please? The folks at [Domain] can not reach [a server]. ---------------------------------David. Tel. [tel-number] Sent via BlackBerry Z30 I suspect it's due to it sending with HTML formatting but the ticket system isn't detecting it's HTML. Knowing Blackberry, it's surely some sort of custom header being used.
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted June 17, 2014 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted June 17, 2014 Hi, The ticket system will import the email message as-is. This is intentional so you can easily share code with users without it getting rendered (and to prevent malicious HTML being execute inside your ticket system). If the email only contains an HTML version, then I'm afraid you will get the HTML code too. Most email clients send a plaintext version too, so that gets imported and looks just fine.
