expressdomain
I have deleted a WHMCS installation on my server, but the templates_c folder does not delete. It's full of .tpl.php files. They don't even delete individually. The permissions are 755. This isn't the first time I'm runing into this problem. I end up just leaving the template_c folder. Please help. Thanks
brian!
how are you trying to delete them - via ftp or through cpanel (or similar) ? Edited March 25, 2014 by brian!
sparky
Check to see who the owner of the files are... My guess would be the user "nobody" which is used by apache. you are probably better to use suphp so that any files created by the software are created by the accounts user.
expressdomain
how are you trying to delete them - via ftp or through cpanel (or similar) ? Via FTP, I'm using FileZilla, I get "Forbidden command argument". I just don't understand what it is about this folder that makes it undeletable.

brian!
I know some older versions of Filezilla didn't like special characters in folder or filenames.. can you rename the folder to remove the '_' ? I just tried deleting a file in template_c using Filezilla and it worked fine.. if you can't delete it, perhaps contact your hosting company to get them to delete it.
expressdomain
Problem solved. I deleted the folder through my host's file manager. FileZila was the problem. Thanks everyone. - - - Updated - - -
