[unconfirmed] 5.2.16 New Order Domain Name in Upper Case Results in Error

I copied / pasted a domain name into add new order page from a client email - the domain was in uppercase (capitals) EXAMPLE.COM

 

This results in an error and the order is unable to be entered.

 

Validation Error

An order cannot be created because no products or domain registration items have been selected

 

I then entered in lower case and it was accepted. Perhaps this is intended, but I would suggest it's not hard to convert the domain to lowercase on submit, or at least display an error indicating the issue.

Do you have IDN domain support enabled? This is a known issue with IDN support enabled.
