Hello,

First I did look at all the WHMCS documentation and all the is correct form ioncube on. This is now the second time this has failed. The first time I had to restore the back up I took before upgrade.

I made sure all files were uploaded in binary, uploaded a little at a time wrote down exactly what I was doing the entire time. Go thorough upgrade tells me I am upgrading from 5.1.15 to 5.2.14, hit the upgrade button says upgrade complete, delete install folder and go to admin area and get blank page. Client area shows maintenance mode as it should.

Uploaded files again to double check, again nothing but a blank page.

Ticket in, but if it takes them more than an hour to get back to me I will need to restore the old version.

Any help would be appreciated.

I am doing a version upgrade. Moving from 5.1 to 5.2. So from most recent 5.1 version 5.1.15 to 5.2.14 full upgrade.

No issues with applying any patches.

Oh OK then not sure what the issue is then sorry

Edit: You MAY need to flush your DNS to get the new settings and such to show, just a thought though

cmd->ipconfig /flushdns

Problem solved. It was not an issue with the WHCMS and the upgrade but our Kayako integration. Support found the file that was the issue ( hook- editticketsystememail.php) disabled it, we upgraded the Kayako integration and all looks good and working again.

Just wanted to say that there are a lot of stones being thrown on the decline of WHMCS support. In all the years I have been with WHMCS never have I had an issue. Responses have always been timely. This time I paid for the upgrade (never did before) they found the issue, they delivered the upgrade with in 24 hours as promised. Great support and I thank them.

Great to see that not everyone blames WHMCS when things not go as expected.
