sohouk
I patched from 5.2.12 > 5.2.13 and restarted WHMCS. Remembering that after any patch or upgrade you need to empty the templates cache I went to do this in the System clean-up and got an error " Invalid file. Please contact support" /whmcs/admin/systemcleanup.php I can empty the cache manually but it occurs to me that that isn't a good solution. Can this be fixed? astewart
I can confirm that this is an actual issue after updating to version 5.2.13. I get the following when trying to empty the template Cache. ERROR: Invalid file. Please contact support. FILE: /WHMCS/admin/systemcleanup.php

Trevor I reported the problem and got the response: ======================== Hi Edvan Sampaio, This would appear to be a consequence of the security update and stricter filename validation which we became aware ourselves after the security patch was released. We have opened case #3662 with our developers in order to have this resolved for future releases. Unfortunately, I cannot provide an estimated time for completion for this. However, once we resolve cases and push features they are available at our change log, here: http://changelog.whmcs.com/ I apologize for the inconvenience, and appreciate your patience as we work to resolve this. If you notice any bugs in future, please use our new bug reporting tool at http://bugs.whmcs.com Regards, Andrew Developer
jclarke
Yeah, I noticed this as well. It would be great if WHMCS would hire a few QA people to test all the admin and client area functionality before releasing an update and little issues like this would be avoided.
